City of Lexington reviews annual “Thriller” parade

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The City of Lexington is considering making changes to its Michael Jackson “Thriller” parade.

This comes after a documentary, called “Leaving Neverland”, alleges the pop star sexually abused boys.

The city has been under pressure by community members to end the annual event.

The City of Lexington tweeted, “We evaluate events on an ongoing basis. W/ Thriller we’re at the earliest stages of this process. Parks will provide Commissioner Geoff Reed w/ options. As of now, the parade is scheduled for October 27th of this year.
