City crews at work filling potholes

LEXINGTON, KY. (WTVQ)- With the weather improving, city crews are taking advantage and staying busy patching potholes.

Maintaining the roads is a year round process and the freezing and thawing during the winter only increases the problem.

There are still plenty of potholes to fix during the summer.

Last month, city crews filled 1,997 potholes with 697 of them being reported to Lexcall by motorists.

Motorists are asked to report potholes by calling LexCall at 311 or 859-425-2255.
