Cincinnati Reds Opening Day to welcome fans back at 30% capacity
CINCINNATI, OH. (WTVQ) – Thursday, April 1 is Opening Day for Major League Baseball. Fans can head back to the ballpark, but just how many depends on your favorite MLB team.
In Cincinnati, while there will be no ceremonial parade for the Reds, there will be some fans in the stands. According to Reds officials, the Great American Ball Park will be at 30% capacity with social distancing measures, a mask requirement, as well as all food and drink purchases cashless using a mobile app.
First pitch is 4:10 P.M. against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Gates open to the public at 2:40 P.M. and pregame ceremonies start at 3:30.
