Chilly start to the workweek
Meteorologist Dillon Gaudet has the latest in your full ABC 36 Storm Team forecast
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Happy Monday! You’ll need to bundle up to begin the week, it’s a cold one out there to start your Monday. Temperatures won’t get much better by the afternoon hours either, only reaching the low-to-mid 40s for most. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with a chilly northwesterly breeze keeping feels-like temperatures in the 30s. There is the chance of a few snow flakes flying in eastern Kentucky, especially in the mountains. This chance is low, but don’t be surprised to look outside and spot a few flakes.
It’s going to stay dry through the middle of the week as temperatures slowly improve by Wednesday. Temperatures on Wednesday should reach the mid-to-upper 50s for most.
Rain chances return by Friday but we aren’t expecting heavy rain. Isolated-to-scattered rain showers will be possible to close out the workweek.
Stay with the ABC 36 Storm Team for more updates.
