Children celebrate New Year’s Noon at the Explorium
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kids in Lexington started celebrating the New Year early at the Explorium of Lexington.
The children’s museum held a New Year’s Noon party, dropping balloons at 12:00 p.m. to coincide with the ringing in of the New Year in India.
Kids also made Diwali lanterns at the event, and learned about Indian customs.
For parents looking for something to do on New Year’s Day, the Explorium of Lexington will open tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
