Charges brought in December baby store armed robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police have charged David Allen Wallace with robbery in connection to a robbery at Carter’s in Hamburg in December.

Police say store employees noticed Wallace shoplifting back on December 20th, but he showed a gun after they confronted him.

The employees then backed off and let Wallace leave.

He was arrested for unrelated public intoxication charges the next day.

Police brought these new robbery charges after he was identified by store employees.
