Cave Found Guilty Of Murder

A Lexington man has been found guilty of murdering his mother and hiding her body in a trash can nearly two years ago.

The Lexington Herald Leader reports a Fayette County Jury found Mark Cave guilty of murder and tampering with evidence in the June 2011 death of his mother Sharon Cave-Howard.

The trial went into sentencing phase Tuesday. Cave could serve 20 years to life in prison for the murder.
