Car found, search for missing teens continues
LEXINGTON, Ky. ( ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The search for two missing teenagers who are considered to be in danger continues, police are asking the public for help.
15-year-old Aoun Basboos and 16-year-old Ali Naqvi were last seen on Sunday getting into a vehicle associated with a shots-fired call.
The car, a white Acura ILX, was found Thursday night, at the Loradale Market on Russell Cave Road. However, the boys were not found.
It is unclear at this time what was found in the vehicle
Police say the car in question is connected to the disappearance of the teenagers.
Police believe after the shots fired call on Spangler Drive five days ago, the vehicle traveled out of Fayette County and into surrounding counties Sunday night from around 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the white Acura or the two teens during that time to call them.
Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for any information about the two.
