Car crashes into Laurel County post office

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Amazingly, no one was hurt Saturday after a car crashed into a post office in Laurel County.

The County Sheriff says Clyde Liford from Corbin parked his jeep in front of the Lilly Post Office.

When he came back to his car, he accidentally put it in drive, then hit the accelerator instead of the brake when trying to stop his car from moving forward.

He crashed into the post office building causing big damage to the building, but luckily not to himself or anyone inside.
