California fugitive arrested in Laurel Co. traffic stop
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested three people after a traffic stop Thursday evening, one of those people being a fugitive.
Deputies say they found Suboxone, needles they believe are used for meth, pipes with suspected drug residue, and a firearm in a car on Jerry’s Road near the Hal Rogers Parkway.
30-year-old Roy Charles was in possession of the firearm found, he is wanted by the state of California on for multiple charges. He will be extradited back to California.
51-year-old Ronald Johnson, of Hazard, was the driver and charged with drug possession, DUI, and other charges.
36-year-old Regina Fox, of London was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.
