‘No Hunger Holidays’ in Lexington to provide food and fun

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A popular Italian food chain is partnering with local businesses to feed families and provide holiday fun in Lexington.

Fazoli’s, Feed the Children, Brown Foodservice, Hope Center and others plan to host ‘No Hunger Holidays’ on December 3 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at George Privett Center.

The restaurant says it plans to feed 200 families.  In addition to the food, families will be able to visit with Santa, super heroes and Disney characters.

Before leaving, Fazoli’s says each family will receive a box of food, a box of essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion and personal care items and a box of Avon products.

Additionally, Brown Foodservice says it will provide hams, turkeys and side dishes.

Since 2012, Fazoli’s and Feed the Children have partnered to help more than 8,800 families providing 75,500 pounds of food and essentials.
