Burst of snow leads to crashes affecting I-65 travel
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says Interstate 65 northbound is moving slowly in central Kentucky after a series of weather-related crashes.
Spokesman Chris Jessie said a heavy burst of snow contributed to several northbound crashes between Munfordville and Upton, or between mile markers 68 and 75.
Northbound travel was initially blocked, but Jessie says one northbound lane had opened up by early Friday evening.
