Bullitt County Named Official Trailhead Of The Bourbon Trail
Bullitt County, home of Jim Beam, one of the world’s bestselling bourbons, has been named an official trailhead of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
A reception celebrating the recognition will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Shepherdsville-Bullitt County Tourist & Convention Center.
“Bullitt County will capture countless visitors coming to Kentucky to experience the heritage of America’s only native spirit,” said Bullitt County Tourism Executive Director Paul Beam “The Kentucky Bourbon Trail has done great things for local tourism, and we are ecstatic about this new partnership.”
As part of its designation, visitors who finish tours at all seven Kentucky Bourbon Trail can now pick up their commemorative T-shirt in Shepherdsville instead of waiting for mail delivery, Beam said.
