Bullets hit apartment building, 1 arrested

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington apartment building is hit by bullets during a fight.

Police say it happened just before 11 p.m. Thursday Tates Creek Road at the Pinebrook Apartments.

They got a call about a large fight in the parking lot.

During that fight, they say two men fired shots and some of the bullets struck the apartment complex.

No one was hit.

Police arrived and found a gun abandoned in the parking lot.

They say one suspect took off on foot and the other drove away.

Police say they caught up with the one who drove away.

Maxwell Winburn was arrested and charged with 12 counts of  wanton endangerment.
