Building destroyed by fire in Clark County

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A large, two-story building was destroyed by fire Wednesday night in Clark County, according to the Winchester Fire Department. Investigators say the building was vacant and didn’t have any electricity running to it. Investigators say the last occupant was ‘Bananas on the River.’ The fire led to the temporary closure of Ford Road, according to firefighters. The fire call came-in around 10:25 p.m. Firefighters from the Winchester Fire Department, Clark County Fire Department, Waco Volunteer Fire Department and Whitehall Volunteer Fire Department all battled the fire.
