Brodhead Police arrest a man on drug charges

BRODHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ)- Brodhead Police say they arrested a man on drug related charges after they noticed a van parked behind the ball field off Castle Village Drive.

Police say the van’s lights were off. They identified the driver as 19-year-old John Stone.

Officers say they questioned Stone on why he was in the area. They say he began to stutter and act nervous.

Stone gave police permission to search the van, that’s when police found four baggies containing what Stone said was meth.

Police also located a glass pipe used to smoke illegal substances.
