BREAKING: Couple with Lexington ties, working in Belgium, now missing
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A couple from Lexington, who are now living in Belgium, is missing.
This after a series of explosions killed dozens in Brussels Tuesday morning.
According to Betty Gragg Newsom, Stephanie and Justin Shults have been missing since the attack.
Newsom, Stephanie Shults’ aunt, says Stephanie is from Lexington, and graduated from Bryan Station High School and Transylvania University. Shults is now working in Belgium.
WKRN is reporting that Justin Shults has ties to Nashville, and is listed as an alumni of Vanderbilt University.
Stephanie’s mother, Carolyn, is in Belgium visiting, and was on her way back to the U.S. According to Betty, Stephanie and Justin were dropping her off at the airport when the attacks happened. Carolyn is okay, but says that Stephanie and Justin are still missing.
