Boyle County road reopens after car crash

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A two-vehicle collision left two people injured and closed down 2168 in Boyle County for approximately two-hours Friday afternoon, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Investigators say a 2004 Ford Mustang, driven by 31-year old Ryan Hundley, of Parksville, was headed eastbound on 2168 when he lost control of his car and collided with a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by 59-year old Dwayne Brown, of Danville, who was traveling westbound on 2168.

Hundley, along with his passenger, 29-year old Shaun Boyd, of Junction City, were taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The collision is under investigation by the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office.
