Boyle County man dies in accidental shooting

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man died Wednesday afternoon following an accidental shooting in Boyle County, according to the Fayette County coroner.

The coroner identified the victim as 29-year old Allen Shearer Ramsey.

The shooting happened on Tuggle Road.

Ramsey died at UK Hospital in Lexington at 3:55 p.m., according to the coroner.

The Boyle County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
