Boyle County high speed chase ends in arrest

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Boyle County police say a man was arrested on Thursday, September 19th after running away in a high-speed chase the day before.

Kyle Johnson has multiple active warrants for his arrest including the chase when police found him hiding in a closet.

Police say he resisted arrest and had to be tased.

The Danville Police Department says the pursuit continued for several miles before finally ending after Johnson attempted to cross the railroad tracks at W. Walnut Street, crashing out and disabling the vehicle.

Police say he fled on foot and was unable to be found.

According to police, Sheriff’s Deputies acted on information that Johnson was staying at an apartment at the McDowell Manor Apartments on Fourth Street in Danville and found him hiding in a closet.
