Boyle Co. Inmate Escapes

State Police are trying to find a Boyle County inmate who reportedly escaped Tuesday afternoon while on work release.

They said 32-year-old Joshua Thompson, of Nicholasville, walked away from the Boyle County Recycling Center around noon.

According to the Boyle County Detention Center, he was 18 days into a three-year sentence for possession of a controlled substance and wanton endangerment.
