Boy shot, driven to Lexington fire station for help

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A boy who was shot while a passenger in a car, was driven to a Lexington fire station for help, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say someone fired shots into a car with one of the bullets hitting the boy.  The child was driven to Fire Station 16 on Man O War Boulevard just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the boy suffered life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say some juveniles were arrested and charged in the case.  Because of their ages, no names were released.

Police say they’re not sure the exact location of the shooting.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Lexington Police at 859-258-3600.
