Bourbon County man wins $225,000 in lottery drawing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Bourbon County man takes home nearly $200,000 after winning a Kentucky Lottery drawing.

The Kentucky Lottery says Kevin Varney, of Paris, purchased a set of Cash Ball 225 numbers online for multiple drawings.

He matched four numbers and the Cash Ball number, winning the game’s top prize on November 23.

After taxes, Varney received a check for $159,750 and says he plans to pay off bills with his winnings.
