Body of missing western Kentucky man found in floodwaters
HENDERSON, Ky. (AP) — A coroner says the body of a man missing for more than two weeks has been found in floodwaters near his truck.
Henderson County Coroner Bruce Farmer told The Gleaner (http://bit.ly/18X2hEw) that Jeffrey Clary’s body was found Tuesday night by his younger brother, who was among volunteers looking for him since March 7.
Farmer said the body was found along Green River Road where search crews had concentrated efforts after determining his last phone call came from the area.
Rescue officials told The Gleaner last week that floodwaters had made the search for Clary difficult.
The death is being investigated by the coroner’s office and the Henderson County Sheriff’s office.
