Body found near entrance to emergency room in Jessamine County

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was found dead near the entrance to Saint Joseph Jessamine Tuesday afternoon.

The body was found by a maintenance worker in some bushes around 2:00 p.m., according to the Jessamine County coroner.

Investigators say there were no obvious signs of trauma.

No name or age was released.

The body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy in an effort to determine a cause and manner of death.
