Body found in Boyle County church parking lot

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A decomposed body was found in a Boyle County church parking lot on Thursday evening, according to the coroner’s office.

Deputy coroner Mike Wilder says 53-year-old Marion L. King’s body was found half inside and half outside of a vehicle in the Doctor’s Fork Baptist Church parking lot.

He tells us a minister found his body.

The deputy coroner says King’s body had been there for at least three days.

His body was decomposed because of the weather, according to officials.

King is from Jeffersonville Indiana but has family in Boyle County.

The cause of death is still under investigation, according Wilder.
