Bobcat captured in Floyd County store

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A store in Floyd County had an unexpected customer on Wednesday night, a bobcat!

According to a Facebook post by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department, store employees called authorities after the animal wandered into the store.  The department did not name the business.

Deputies, Kentucky State Troopers and Martin Police safely captured the bobcat and released the animal without injury, according to the post on social media.
