Bluegrass Pizza & Pub, Celebrating 8 Years in Danville

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Bluegrass Pizza and Pub has been in operation since 2010, serving craft beer and pizza to the city and Danville. Owned by Colin and Melissa Masters, Bluegrass Pizza is the largest employer of Centre College students in the city.

Though they specialize in craft beer and pizza, they also have a full bar, as well as sandwiches and salads. The 4700 square foot, circa 1860 building is decorated with rock and roll/jam band memorabilia, as well as Melissa’s photography.

Over 500 pounds of fresh pizza dough are made every week. Colin’s mother was from New York City so he grew up loving New York style pizza which inspires him today. Their pizza is unique because they make their food with all natural, fresh ingredients. Even the pesto and salad dressing are made from scratch, nothing comes from a can.

Melissa has been the interior designer, lining the walls with her photography and rock albums. The couple are big live music junkies so they wanted to bring that into their business.

Be sure to check out their weekly deals on large pizzas, craft beer and more!
