Bluegrass HorseAbility – Riding for Hope

Directors Pat Kline, with Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, and Jenny Wurzback, with Easter Seals Cardinal Hill, stop by the studio to tell Katie Solove about the Bluegrass HorseAbility summer program for children with special needs.

For 36 years, non-profit Central Kentucky Riding for Hope has been dedicated to enriching the community by improving the quality of life and health of individuals with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities with horses.

Teaming up with Easter Seals Cardinal Hill, Central Kentucky Riding for Hope’s Bluegrass HorseAbility program will provide nine weeks of fun and 3educational opportunities for participants, lasting from June 5 through August 4 at the Kentucky Horse Park, located at 4185 Walt Robertson Road in Lexington.  The program will run Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to  5:00 p.m.
