After Brussels, Blue Grass Airport bumps up security

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In the wake of terror attacks at the airport in Brussels, Blue Grass Airport has asked local agencies to increase foot patrols in the terminals and surrounding the airport property.

A spokesperson for the airport says that there are no specific regulatory changes, but that the steps are being taken out of an abundance of caution.

Blue Grass Airport says that the increased security will have no impact on passengers.
