LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Clays Mill Baptist Church is moving three miles from its current building in Lexington to a neighboring county.

Construction for a new multi-purpose facility for the church and christian school will begin within 90-days on Brannon Road in Jessamine County, according to church officials.

Right now, the church is renting a facility off Versailles Road in Lexington to handle the larger crowds.

The new 80-acre property is expected to have plenty of room and parking.

Clays Mill Baptist was founded in 1964 by Dr. Louis Arnold.  The current pastor is Jeff Fugate.
