Big Lexington church moving to Jessamine County
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Clays Mill Baptist Church is moving three miles from its current building in Lexington to a neighboring county.
Construction for a new multi-purpose facility for the church and christian school will begin within 90-days on Brannon Road in Jessamine County, according to church officials.
Right now, the church is renting a facility off Versailles Road in Lexington to handle the larger crowds.
The new 80-acre property is expected to have plenty of room and parking.
Clays Mill Baptist was founded in 1964 by Dr. Louis Arnold. The current pastor is Jeff Fugate.
