Big Blue Madness tickets sell out in 28 minutes

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The University of Kentucky says it took just 28 minutes to give out all of the free tickets to the Cats first open practice of the season.

The school says more than one-thousand Solid Blue fans camped out for three days in Lexington, hoping to get Big Blue Madness tickets. It says there were 375 tents set up ahead of Friday night’s ticket distribution at Memorial Coliseum.

Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams will take part in Big Blue Madness. It will be held October 14 at 7pm at Rupp Arena. Solid Blue fans can also watch Big Blue Madness on the SEC Network.
