Bicyclist killed in collision on U.S. 60 in Woodford County
VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – A bicyclist was killed in a collision on U.S. 60 in Woodford County late Sunday morning, according to the Woodford County Coroner’s Office.
Investigators say a car and the bicyclist collided around 11:15 a.m. near mile marker six in the westbound lanes.
The bicyclist died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office. He was identified by the coroner’s office as 69-year old William Cockley, of Frankfort.
An autopsy is scheduled Monday at the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort, according to the coroner’s office.
The Versailles Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the deadly collision.
