Bicyclist hit by truck, killed in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is dead after he was hit by a truck while riding his bike in Clay County on Wednesday.

Kentucky State Police say 53-year-old Randall Eversole, of Annville, was on US Highway 421 in the Burning Springs community when he was struck around 7:11 p.m.

Eversole was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the truck was cited for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, according to state police.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
