Beshear wants public to stay patient while waiting on more vaccines

FRANKFORT. Ky. (ABC 36) In his briefing today, Thursday, January 21st, Governor Beshear reiterated that there’s a limited supply in vaccines.

But he says the state has the capacity to distribute the vaccines quickly and is prepared to do so once more vaccines arrive.

He says the state expected some people to be hesitant about receiving the vaccine…but that actually isn’t happening as much as expected.

“Often times if it’s not there it can be an were being overlooked but there’s just not enough yet, and the more they give to us, the more we can get out to more places across the country” said Governor Beshear.

He is urging the public to stay patient.

Governor Beshear added he hasn’t heard a direct reply yet from the Federal Government when he asked it double the vaccine supply it’s sending to Kentucky.
