Berea woman left with minor injuries after tree falls on home

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ)-The Red Lick Volunteer Fire Department says a large tree fell on a home on Red Lick Road while the homeowner was still inside, Saturday night.

Tree trimmers from C&S Tree Services worked to clear the massive tree that fell.

Crews say strong winds may have played a part in why the tree fell.

They say a woman was sitting in her bedroom when the crash happened.

Red Lick Volunteer Fire Department says the homeowner is staying with family until the home is repaired.
