Berea Police Offering Extra Help Due to Recent Rise in Burglaries

An increase in home burglaries over the past couple of weeks in Berea has prompted city police to offer some extra protection to concerned residents.

According to officers, almost all of the reported burglaries have happened while homeowners were on vacation or out of town. As a result, they’re asking everyone who may be away from their homes for an extended period of time to let them know.
