Believing in Forever – A Coat to Keep the Cold Away 11-14

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Devine Carama, hip-hop artist and owner of the children’s non-profit “Believing in Forever, Inc.,” comes by the studio to tell Meteorologist Eric Burke about the 3rd Annual “A Coat to Keep the Cold Away” clothing drive that aims to keep children warm this winter.

The drive distributes coats, hats, and gloves to children in Lexington, Harrodsburg, Whitley City, Booneville, Salyersville, McKee, and Manchester, Kentucky.

Believing in Forever, Inc. is now accepting requests for families in need of coats, hats, and gloves for their children.  Those requests can be sent to, and must be received no later than Wednesday, November 23rd.  Be sure to include item sizes.  The winter gear will be distributed in December.

Last year, Believing in Forever, Inc. gave out over 500 coats to children in the Lexington area, and they hope to beat that number this year.

For those wishing to donate, new coats and winter gear are being accepted at The Plantory at 501 W. 6th Street, Suite 250 in Lexington.  Coats, hats, and gloves cannot be previously owned.

Financial donations can also be sent via PayPal to 859-303-2637.
