Battle of the Bluegrass holds first outdoor car show

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The weather held out Saturday to let car enthusiasts gather for the Battle of the Bluegrass car show at Masterson Station Park. Battle of the Bluegrass says it was thrilled with the large turnout, especially given the weekend’s prior rainy forecast.

Organizers say despite low pre-sale numbers, the event was a big success and they were even able to see some cars they hadn’t seen before.

“It’s really cool to see inspiration in people’s eyes,” says Nick Richardson, chief financial officer. “So it’s cool to have one place people can come and see inspiration for their own builds.”

Battle of the Bluegrass says it likes to make its shows all-inclusive so people with all makes and models can show off what they have. For more information on upcoming shows, visit www.battleotbluegrass.com/.
