Bath County schools dismissing early due to rising waters

BATH COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Bath County Schools says it’s letting students out of school early Monday over concerns about floodwaters.

All Bath County schools are dismissing at 2 p.m., according to the district.

Heavy rain in expected to continue throughout the day and the district says it wants to make sure students get home before the waters rise and cover the roadways.

The district says night school at Bath County High School is canceled.

School-Aged Child Care will continue to operate until 6:00 p.m., according to the district.
