Barren Co. Man Arrested on Sexual Exploitation Charges

GLASGOW, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police with the Electronic Crime Branch say they arrested 34-year-old Ralph W. Goss on charges of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor and use of a minor in a sex performance.

Goss was arrested on Thursday as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after investigators in Colorado told them that Goss was soliciting a minor for images of child sexual exploitation.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Goss’ home in Glasgow. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Goss is currently charged with twenty counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor and twenty counts of use of a minor (under sixteen) in a sex performance.

He was taken to the Barren County Detention Center.
