Barbourville man threatening police has been arrested

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An update on the search for a man accused of threatening police.

State police say they’ve arrested 28-year-old Kyle Childress from Barbourville after a two week long investigation.

According to troopers, that’s when photos appeared on Facebook that seemed to suggest violence towards police.

In one of the photos, someone is holding a gun directly behind a state police car.

A detective says Childress published those photos on a fake account.

He’s been charged with disorderly conduct.
