Bank robbed in Robertson County

MOUNT OLIVET, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police are looking for two men they say robbed a bank Monday in Mount Olivet in Robertson County.

Investigators say the two robbers walked into the Citizens Bank with their faces covered and demanded money from the tellers and from the customers in the bank.

State Police say one of the robbers shoved a customer and stole the money the customer was at the bank to deposit.

After getting the money, the two men left and bank and headed south on Main Street.

State Police say the robbery happened just before 3:00 p.m.  No one was hurt.
