Authorities searching for two escaped Blackburn inmates

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Authorities are searching for two inmates who reportedly walked away from Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington.

Officials say Kelly Conway and James Dennis left the prison around 9:30 Tuesday night.

According to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, Conway was serving a 17 year sentence for a conviction of Robbery, 2nd Degree, out of McCracken County. The prison says he’s 46-years-old, 5’11”, 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Prison officials say Dennis was serving a 13 year sentence for convictions out of Daviess and Union Counties, including Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Flagrant Non Support. Blackburn says he’s 32-years-old, 5’10”, 230 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
