Authorities investigate shooting in Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is in custody following a shooting in Mercer County over the weekend.

According to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a shooting Saturday at 456 Manns Road.

They found one man shot at the home. He was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital to be treated for his injuries.

His condition is unknown.

The sheriff says Richard Rowlette was arrested and charged with assault and wanton endangerment.
