Authorities investigate Civil War grave violation

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) -The Laurel Co. Sheriff says someone disturbed a Civil War grave just north of London.

According to investigators, the grave is located in an abandoned cemetery off Glenn View Lane.  Deputies say a hunter noticed the grave had been disturbed and contacted them around 9:00 a.m. on Friday.  When deputies went to investigate, they say they discovered that someone had attempted to dig up and open the grave.
