Assault Charge for Parent Accused of Attacking Volleyball Coach

ANDERSON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Anderson News is reporting that a parent has received an assault charge after attacking an Anderson County High School volleyball coach.

The paper says the incident happened prior to a match on October 10th at the school.

Captured video shows parent Kenny Holland grabbing girl’s volleyball coach Bob Hardin by the throat.

According to the Anderson News, Holland called Hardin names and questioned his coaching capability prior to the scuffle.

Holland was charged with assault on Friday.
