Arrests in 2014 Lexington murder helps family heal

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are still looking for a third person they say robbed and killed a man last October.

Charles Patton III and Caitlyn Conway are also accused of robbing and killing Darnell Bates. Patton was already in jail on unrelated charges. Conway was arrested Tuesday.

Police are still looking for Demarcus Harris.

Investigators say Bates was found shot in the stomach after a burglary at his home on Addie Street, October 5, 2014. Police say two men had forced their way in. Bates later died at UK Hospital.

Patton and Conway both went before a judge on Wednesday. Not guilty pleas were entered for them.

Both of them are still in jail without bond. They have another court date set for next month.
