Arrest after man is pistol-whipped, stripped and robbed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man claims he was tied up, stripped down, pistol-whipped and robbed in a Lexington apartment.

Court documents say 25-year-old Anthony Preston, was one of three people who attacked the victim as he walked into the apartment on Cambridge Drive back on July 21st.

The victim says the suspects hit him in the head with a gun several times and forced him to take off his clothes.

He says they tied up his hands with an electrical cord, gagged and blindfolded him and hit him.

Preston and the others took the victim out of the apartment and tried to put him in the car, according to court documents, but the victim took off running.

He says Preston tackled him.

A witness saw the incident and called police.

The victim says the suspects stole $30 and his cell phone.

Preston is charged with kidnapping and robbery.
